Sarah’s Philosophy: We know that modern science demonstrates the inseparable connection between mind and body. Sarah’s approach is rooted in this fact. To ensure wellbeing, it is essential for a health-oriented Personal Trainer to understand how an individual moves, eats, sleeps, rests, plays and works. All these components can have an influence on one’s body shape and wellbeing.

Sarah works with a wide variety of mature adults, helping them get fit and improve their health.

Where she really excels is working with those who may feel physically challenged. Sarah specializes in working with individuals with a heart condition known as Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and other stable cardiac patients. Sarah also has the ability to help those who have physical limitations. She’s passionate about moving her clients out of pain and towards healthy movement and exercise.

Most clients first experience Sarah as a personal trainer, and she is one of the most highly trained, experienced and certified trainers available to private clients. She is a passionate and perpetual student, enriching her practice from the best teachers in the field of health and fitness.

In the initial stage of working with a new client, Sarah and the client may establish goals focusing on postural correction, core conditioning and optimizing functional movement patterns. This work typically produces noticeable progress towards one’s goals even in the early weeks.

Some clients will stay at this postural/strengthening level of training with Sarah. As a Health-Oriented Trainer, however, Sarah will suggest greater opportunities to deepen one’s wellness. These might include guidance in nutrition, introduction to meditation and yoga and personal coaching in moving beyond addictive or self-sabotaging behaviors.
What to expect when working with Sarah: Sarah begins with a comprehensive 1-hour assessment establishing goals, assessing posture and how an individual moves and lastly, reviewing lifestyle details. Taking this information, depending on where her clients are, Sarah works with her client to carefully select the appropriate strategies that help them meet their health and wellness goals.

Sarah works with a wide variety of mature adults, helping them get fit and improve their health.
