As personal trainers we need to start with a complete bio mechanical and functional assessment in
order to get the right information to start at the right place for the client. Just throwing a bunch of
exercises does not mean you are training the client. a skilled trainer knows what the client needs to
improve the quality of movement. Don’t be fooled by what many so called fitness experts would call
training.
Tools a good trainer uses:
- Start with a comprehensive assessment
- Create detailed programs
- Train the client to have perfect form
- Create a tool box of movement patterns and exercises
- Teach the client how to manage their health
- Teach the client how to train without you
